Kayaking and Stairway

So when I said that I have nothing to post I was refuted by friends telling me to post about my adventures living in Hawaii.
We have a friend who works at Surf and Sea on North Shore. So a Saturday ago we went Kayaking for the morning. Brett and I learned a good lesson in communication and by the end of the morning we weren't completely blaming each other when we hit paddles. We went with two other couples. I found it funny that the couple with the most experience kayaking together (and longest married) opted to go with two separate kayaks. And of course it was the other couples first date so they couldn't get the feelings of fury that Brett and I were experiencing. But it ended well and we were quite fast at the end because of our brute strength. The turtles were out and the water/weather was gorgeous. Surfers hated it. :) (super flat day)

The lovely picture to the right is what we will be experiencing this coming Saturday. Haiku Stairs consist of 4,000 steps constructed for the military watch in WWII. I've done it once with the men's and women's soccer teams after season when I was in good shape. It will be Brett's first time, and we are going with my Coworkers for their first time to. I will report on that later!

It's about time!!! That is awesome about Kayaking. I bet I would get frustrated with it. It sounds fun though! Be careful on stairway. I still wish I would have done it when I lived there. Hope its fun! Love ya!
